Description
Tradition Park in Siemianowice is located at the site of a former engine room of the closed down coal mine.
Inside a red brick, four floor building there are:
– modern event and conference hall for 160 guests,
– model of a blast furnace,
– one of the biggest collections of miner’s lamps in Poland,
– winding steam engine from 1905,
– and exhibits connected with the Silesian industry.
The building has got high windows. A roadway with multimedia solutions has been arranged underground. Outside there are: gym, place for playing chess (big chess as well), wooden sculpture, 56-meter high headframe of the shaft “Krystyna” and historic coal mine carts.
In front of the building there is a spacious car park, which can serve as a base camp during shootings.
