The underground passage for pedestrians is located in the centre of Katowice next to the closed, old station. It connects Mariacka (very popular during the summer) and Wojewódzka streets.

 

The inside of the passage is lit by the faint light beams what determines the very gloomy atmosphere of the subway. The walls are covered with graffiti – everything from astonishing images to ordinary daubs. The passage is accessible through the stairs from Wojewódzka street. A wheelchair ramp is not available.

 

The railways are located above the passage. Hotel Diament and parking are located in the immediate proximity.
