The old railway station

Description
The old railway station in Poraj, next to Częstochowa was built between 1847 and 1849. It included:
– main building with the ticket window, waiting room and food court,
– pumping station,
– water tower,
– station master’s quarters,
– railwaymen’s dwelling houses,
– warehouse.
The area around the building is neglected with its elevation being destroyed. The station has been closed in 1956 and remains abandoned to this day.
