The monument to Pstrowski

Description
Built in the 20th century the monument to Wincenty Pstrowski is a symbol of the heroes of socialist labor in Poland. Located in Zabrze in one of the main city squares. For the city inhabitants it constitutes a good deal of history.
The monument presents Wincenty Pstrowski, the hero of the working class in Polish People’s Republic, the coal miner in Jadwiga Coal Mine in Zabrze who achieved 200 percent of expected efficiency.
In the cobbled square, next to the monument, one of the highest and most beautiful fountains in Silesia has been built.
The square, thanks to its location and surroundings, is one of the most popular meeting and relaxation spots in Zabrze.
