Description

Nonexistent Jewish Cemetery that was located opposite the former synagogue in Lelów.

It was erected in 17th century, but completely devastated during the Second World War. When the bones of Dawid Biderman, the tzadic, were found in August, 1988 the modest grave was built for him. During the summer of 2011 the premises of the cemetery were surrounded by the fence and the new grave was built one year later.

 

The grave of Tzadic is located on the top of the building with the stairs leading up to it. It is one of the most important pilgrimage destination organized for the Jewish from all over the world.
