St Nicholas Church

Description
Originally Gothic St Nicholas Church was rebuilt in Baroque style but eventually underwent the regothisation. The brick building has got the 45 meters high tower. One of the exterior walls of the church is decorated with the painting.
16th century St John of Nepomuk’s altar, the cross with the St Valentine’s relics and the white and red chasuble can all be found inside the church. Outside one can find:
– the Garden of Gethsemane built in 1863,
– St Mary of Lourdes’ Grotto (1909).
The stone cross from 1852 rises by the church entrance. The lane leading to the church is surrounded by the fence from one side while by the hedge from the other. The houses of tenements and open green spaces are located in close proximity.
