Description
A pit-shaft, transformed into the observation tower, is located on the premises of a new building of the Silesian Museum in Katowice, in Bogucice district. The historic tower has been restored. It is 47 meters high and has got a lift and stairs. From the observation deck of the pit-shaft, the view stretches across the panorama of Katowice.
In the vicinity there is a large car park, at which the film crew can be placed. Nearby there are among others: a building of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, ‘Spodek’ City Sports and Leisure Centre and the International Congress Centre.
