‘Parkowe’ Nature Reserve

Description
The ‘Parkowe’ nature reserve is located in Kraków- Częstochowa Jurassic Upland. It was founded in 1957 to preserve a landscape of rocky forms, historic stand of trees and hills. A total area of the reserve is 155.22 ha.
It includes:
– barrage ponds system, located in a centre of the reserve,
– historic Kołaczew Mill,
– small bridge near Kołaczew,
– huge rocks, called Devil Bridge rocks,
– Twardowski’s Gate,
– Bear’s cave.
Close to the reserve there is a city of Częstochowa.
