A Monastery of the Franciscan Fathers located in Pilica, was built on the hill in 1740 by Maria Józefa Sobieska (Wessel). A church, Sanctuary of the Saint Mary of the Snows, has been built along with the monastery.

 

Inside the church there is a 16^th century reproduction of the icon of the saint patron of the building.

Within the monastery complex there are among others:

– gardens,

– calvary with the Way of the Cross.

– residential buildings for monks,

– Pilgrim’s House with 40 beds,

– hall,

– and an oratory.
