Located in Katowice city centre, Mariacka street’s uglier sister.

 

Between 2010 and 2011 it underwent the thorough renovation. The street surface has been paved with concrete while the sidewalks located on either side with granite slabs. The space along the concrete wall has been allotted for cobbled parking places. Rail tracks run behind the fence.

 

The buildings along the street are mostly squalid. For that reason some of them were used as the painting surface during Silesian Street Art Festival. 

 

It is linked with Francuska and Mielęckiego streets. Restaurants, bars, clubs, Academy of Music and MariackiChurch are located in the immediate proximity.
