Sanctuary of the Virgin Mary of the Patroness of Families is located in Leśniów, one of the districts of Żarki. Built on a hill, it delights with its look and a surrounding area.

 

The sanctuary includes:

– Our Lady of the VisitationChurch,

– field altar,

– chapel at the spring,

– monastery,

– bell-tower,

– pilgrim’s home.

 

A shape of the sanctuary is composed by:

– late baroque high altar with the statuette of Our Lady of Leśniów, from the 14^th century,

– 18^th century side altars,

– 18^th century, wooden, rococo portal in the western façade,

– late rococo choir stalls,

– balustrades,

– confessionals from 1782.

 

The oldest part of the sanctuary was built in the gothic- Renaissance style. A beautiful park with 15 rosary chapels surrounds the church. This big, green area hides many exciting places, e.g. spring with clear water and stone wall with churchyard and square.
