The smallest district of Katowice, located north of the city centre. Its total area amounts to 1,38 km².

 

Low buildings of the 50s designed by Aleksander Marian Koriwn-Szymanowski constitute the building development of the district. Ten years later taller buildings  so called “blue blocks” and the row of properties (pavilions) have been built.

 

Thanks to its location Koszutka is a great spot for the production crew.

Koszutka borders on Wełnowiec, Śródmieście, Dąb and Bogucice.

Railway and bus stations, Silesia City Centre and Spodek are in close proximity.
