Chapel / auditorium
Bytom
Description
One of the most presentable rooms of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology is the auditorium located in the neo-Gothic building erected in 1900 in Bytom.
Formerly, in the place of a present auditorium, there was a chapel. The room is situated on the highest floor of the building and stone stairs with a black railing lead to it. Towering wooden vaulting is characteristic to the auditorium. In the bay window there is a roll-down screen. On the both sides of the room there are seven rows of chairs with desktops. The auditorium is divided into two floors. A decorated, wooden mezzanine leads to the higher floor.
