Description

Cavalier Palace was founded between 1903-1906 in Świerklaniec. In 1996 upon the Voivodshop Conservator of Monuments’ decision entered the national register of historic monuments.

Big monumental building in French neo-baroque style was designed by Ernest von Ihne. Inside the building the hotel is located. There can be found:

three conference rooms with 80 seats available,

audio-visual equipment: flipchart, multimedia projector,

café,

restaurant,

unguarded parking.

 

The estate is surrounded by 154 hectare park with rich flora – over one hundred years old oaks, chestnuts and yews can be admired in its premises.

In the park premises there are:

– waterfall,

– playground,

– canoe landing stage,

horse stud,

small zoo,

– old manor,

– small church,

– Amphitheatre,

– fremiet’s sculptures,

– flagpole,

old castle ruins.

Parking places are available in front of the park entrance.

 

The building was used while filming “Sensacje XX wieku” (“20th century sensations”) as Wallenberg Hotel in Stockholm and the seat of Red Cross in Budapest.
