Mateusz Rzońca (born 1997) is a cinematographer, camera operator, photographer and student of Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice. He graduated from Film and Television Production from the same faculty. He also teaches at the Dance Theatre Department in Bytom at the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts in Krakow. He has worked as a cameraman on the feature films „Sign of Contradiction” (Znak sprzeciwu), „Dead Before Dawn” (Martwi przed świtem), „Life in the Mud Is Golden” (Życie w błocie się złoci), and „Radiostory” as well as the short film „Free Cow” (Wolna krowa) for the Adam Munk Studio. He also served as a camera assistant on numerous short films and major international productions („Barbarians”, „Westwall”, „Infamia”). He is also the cinematographer of his own student short films („Manekiny”, „Dzikie Dzieci”, „Bird’s-nester’s”, „Hołdy”), produced by the Katowice Film School. He also co-created the play “ONO-1” at the J. Kochanowski Theatre in Opole, „How I Loved a Bomb” (Jak pokochałem bombę) at the Barakah Theatre in Krakow, and the documentary play “Ciało” directed by Wera Makowskx.
