My life constantly revolves around sound. From a very young age, I was fascinated by musical instruments (first violin, then guitars) and later by all types of sound recording. As a result of those early explorations, I decided to study sound engineering at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. My passion for cinematography had been with me for several years, leading me to decide, while still a student, to pursue filmmaking.

I’m someone who values sound in film as important as image and can be a wonderful storytelling tool and I love a good story! I’ve been gaining experience on the sets of documentaries, feature films, commercials, corporate films and TV programs since 2011. I live and work primarily in Warsaw but I love to travel for film production, especially abroad. I have a driver’s license, a SUV with a large trunk and a valid passport. I run my own business and issue VAT invoices. My positive attitude allows me to get along well with the crew on set and I can maintain my composure in stressful situations.

I also work in audio post-production. In my opinion, it’s crucial that the sound designer on set is aware of post-production capabilities. I find the greatest satisfaction in managing film projects from the sound stage from beginning (pre-production and on-set recording) to end (post-production and mixing). In this situation, I can fully engage in the project and realize a coherent, intended idea, established even before the first clapperboard. Therefore, I prefer to accept assignments in a planning and post-production package as it benefits the production both in terms of the final result and financially.
