Artur Mendera

I’ve been creating audio and video content since my early teens. Film grain, dynamic camera work, and unconventional storytelling are essential elements of my filmmaking style. I graduated from the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice with a degree in Film and Television Production Management. Since the beginning of this decade, I’ve been creating music videos and live sessions for Polish artists. I collaborated with Myslovitz and indie musicians and groups such as Zachwyt and Lorein. When collaborating with music artists, I strive to create an image that complements the chosen song while being original and unconventional at the same time. I’m not afraid to operate the camera myself if needed.

I also compose film music, both independently and with my band Isles of Goto, depending on the chosen style (ranging from ambient through guitar and synth-driven psychedelia to electronica). I’ve also had a chance to collaborate with Latający Teatr Szybko, an independent theatre formed by students of the University of Silesia and with students of the Katowice Film School.
